Kathleen Hannah
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Hello, human reading this!
My name is Kathleen. I’m a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s most challenging moments. Many people seek counseling when they find themselves at a crossroads. Life’s roadblocks come in many forms, and while we often try to navigate them alone, it’s often easier and more effective with support.
As a mental health counselor specializing in children, adolescents, and families. I’m trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for teens. I offer a warm, supportive environment where children can express themselves through play, teens can build emotional regulation and coping skills, and families can heal and grow together. My work is grounded in compassion, evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to helping young people thrive.
With years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I specialize in trauma-informed care, DBT, feminist therapy, and evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, relational issues, and life transitions. I create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their stories and empowered to make meaningful change. I’m trained in DBT Levels I and II, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Therapy for Military Families, and DBT for Complex PTSD. I’ve worked with clients and families from diverse backgrounds—and all are welcome here. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic challenges, or relationship struggles, I’ll meet you where you are with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your lived experience.
